I am glad to pen for this reputed college. The college began with a modest strength of 80 and over years, it has grown to the present strength of 3064 with 22 Under Graduate Programs and 02 Post Graduate Programs.

I am gratified to know that S.V. Arts College completed 76 years and was accredited prestigious ‘A’ Grade in 2006 by the NAAC. It is moving forward to get re-accreditation by the NAAC. 15 faculty members are adjudged as the Best Teachers by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. This year Cadet A. Hari Prasad participated in RDC 2021. Has received National Trophy and also Rs. 2,00,000/- Cash Prize by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

I am proud to say that many of our alumni are well settled all across the globe. Sri N. Chandra Babu Naidu, Ex-Chief Minister of A.P., Dr. Agarala Eswara Reddy, D.Litt. Ex-Assembly Speaker, Great Singer Padma Vibhushan S.P. Balasubramanyam, Dr. Peddi Reddy Rama Chandra Reddy, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Mines & Geology, Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, M.L.A., Dr. Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, Chandragiri M.L.A, 13 members of our teaching faculty are Alumni of this Institution.
