Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts a entrance test called Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (APPGCET) in order to provide admission to candidates in postgraduate courses offered by Andhra Pradesh State funded Universities and their Constituent/ Affiliated [Government and Private (Aided/Unaided)] Colleges including Minority Educational Institutions in the State. APPGCET is a state level exam which is conducted anually (from the academic year 2021-22) in online mode for the smooth conduct of the exam.
Master of Commerce in Financial Management and Master of Science in Organic Chemistry are full-time two-year postgraduate courses offered by the College.
Master of Commerce (M.Com.)
Masters of Commerce or M.Com. is a post graduate level course ideal for candidates who wish to make a career in banking financial services and insurance (BFSI) as well as accounting and commerce sectors. The 2-year course delves deeper into the functioning of the economy, capital, revenue, trade, taxes, etc. taught in B.Com.
Since, M.Com. is a specialized area in itself, only those candidates who have pursued B.Com. or B.Com. (H), can go for it. M.Com. is also a good option for CA/CS candidates. However, not many CA/CS aspirants pursue M.Com. as CA/CS courses can be pursued after Class 12.
Master of Science - Organic Chemistry (M.Sc.)
M.Sc Organic Chemistry is a postgraduate degree programme that involves the study of structure, properties and reactions of organic compounds. It is the sub-discipline course of Chemistry. The application of M.Sc Organic Chemistry is found in various fields as most of the products we use in our daily to day life are made of organic compounds. It includes drugs, polymers, electronic equipment, parts of machinery etc.
The two years M.Sc Organic Chemistry degree programme is useful to understand the chemical synthesis of products, drugs, and polymers.

Eligibility Criteira
- The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks in the concerned subject.
- The candidates who have appeared for the final year qualifying examination are also eligible to take the tests. But they should have passed the qualifying examination with requisite minimum marks by the time the SVUCET-2020 admissions take place.
- Candidates who qualify themselves in the APPGCET, but do not have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination or not satisfying the subject eligibility requirement are not eligible for admission.
