About the Department
The Department of Computer Science was established during the year 1991 with B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science) course.
B.C.A. and B.Com. (Computer Applications) was introduced during the year 1999. B.Sc. (M. S. C.Sc.) and B.A. (A.S.CA) was introduced during the year 2001. B.C.A. course was terminated as University withdrawn the course and in its place B.Sc. (M.E.C.Sc.) was introduced during the year 2002. Every year nearly 250 students are graduated with computers degree.

- The Department of Computer Science is the center of excellence by providing quality education with a strong research and training environment to enable the generation of socially conscious software engineers who can contribute to the advancement in the field of computer science is to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

Infrastructure
- Department of Computer Science is having well equipped Laboratory with 30 Computer Systems working on UPS with 3 hours backup. One Projector, One LaserJet Printer, and one book scanner.
Departmental Library
- Department is having section Library with 80 volumes of books. Some of books are donated by Lecturers in memory of Late A.V.S.Anil, and Late Dr. A.B.Rajesh Kumar. These books are issued for students for the maximum period of 15 days. Staff members also utilize section library books for references.
