About the APSSDC

APSSDC is a unique organization formed as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) corporation to promote skill development & Entrepreneurship in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The Govt. of AP has formed 7 different Missions to achieve double digit growth for the state and to make AP among the most developed state in the country. Among these, the Knowledge and Skills Mission has been formed to provide trained and skilled manpower to all other Missions. To bring the faster execution State Government of Andhra Pradesh has established The Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (DSDEI) has been further created to coordinate and synergize skilling efforts of all departments, under which APSSDC is formed.

To eliminate the poverty and create decent work for all by investing in the social capital through employment-oriented and industry aligned skill development and livelihood generation

Mission

Identify the gaps in the existing skills ecosystem and upgrade skills to international standards through significant industry involvement, to develop necessary frameworks for quality assurance and establish state-of-art skill colleges across all MP Constituencies to redefine employability skills in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Context

To target 20 million people in AP in next 15 years towards skilling and entrepreneurship to meet skilled human power demands of all Missions and shape AP as the skilled-workforce and knowledge hub for the world.

Career Guidance

  2. To provide information about the skill sets required to join Government and Private Organizations.
  3. To pose carrier guidance and motivational programme periodically.
  4. To provide available updated information about jobs/ positions/opportunities.
  5. To organize lectures on career development by subject experts.
  6. To help students share knowledge about themselves by identifying skills, and interests.
  7. To organize lectures/seminars on interview skills, personality development, communication skills, leadership skills, resume writing, analytical skills, quantitative ability, verbal and reasoning skills essential to all competitive exams.
